Rai Kimonos was born from the creative vision of Olesia Ra, a designer with a deep passion for artistry and craftsmanship. Her journey began with mastering the art of modelling and sewing, but it was her intuitive connection to Japan’s rich culture that truly shaped the brand. Olesia found herself captivated by the timeless elegance of Japanese traditions and the profound life principles they embody—principles that inspire every piece she creates.
Olesia’s journey took flight when she designed her first kimono, which drew widespread admiration. Encouraged by the response, she began collecting exquisite fabrics from around the world during her travels, each with its own story to tell.
